Polished Concrete
This CycleBar located in Downtown Denver needed a floor with a unique design that would stand out for their customers. After agreeing upon a design we took great care to prep all surfaces including maticulously stenciling some crisp accent bands.The floor then received a thorough 400 Grit Polish to create a beautiful smooth concrete surface.
Following the Polish we, burnished the floor to give a glossy mirror like shine. Needless to say, the clients were more than happy with the resulting product and have a floor that will enhance their customers' experience for years to come.
This custom built house in Evergreen Colorado needed a rustic look that fit with the surrounding mountain environment. To achieve this, we gave the floor a 200 grit Polish with a natural finish to maintain the look of the existing concrete while still removing any imperfections that affected its look.
This house in Downtown Denver initially had Carpet. After the owners tore up the carpet they wanted a floor that not only looked great but was easier to clean and would last for a long time. The owners wanted a look that would resemble stone and after thoroughly looking over the color options decided on a brownstone stain, which we applied following a 400 grit polish!
This house in Thornton had just started their basement renovation and knew that they wanted Polished Concrete. However they wanted a design that would stick out amongst the ordinary polished concrete floors. Being inspired by a Japanese art form called Kintsugi, our customers had an idea of what they were looking for. After several iterations of stenciling the design our customers found what they were looking for. We carved the concrete slab and added a gold metallic epoxy to resemble the gold used in the Kintsugi practice. Safe to say this floor will stick out above the rest!
These owners in Salida, CO were building three condo additions on the back of their house. We gave them an 800 grit polish to give their floors a mirror like shine. We then gave the floor and chocolate brown stain to give the floor a modern yet rustic look. The Garage was an original concrete pour that received a clean and seal to improve the surfaces durability and appearance.
This facility located in Broomfield, Colorado, needed a durable long lasting floor that is not only easy to maintain but will last for years and provide an appealing look for any company looking to lease the space.
We started with a heavy 16 grit grind to expose the aggregate within the concrete. We then continued progressing through increasing grits up to the final 200 grit polish. As with all of our polishes, we densified with a lithium silicate and applied multiple coats of sealer to stengthen and increase the longevity of the floor.
This customer located in Littleton, Colorado, needed a flooring solution that would hold up to potential flooding and constant use.
We started with an aggressive 16 grit grind to expose the aggregate and remove any existing contaminates, such as glue and thinsets. We then continued progressing through increasing grits up to a final grit of 200. As with all of our polishes, we densified with a lithium silicate and applied multiple coats of sealer to stengthen and increase the longevity of the floor. We then burnished the floor to help give the floor a little extra shine. As you can see our process made a considerable difference and the customer was thrilled with the final result!
This penthouse suite located in Denver, Colorado had their floor ruined by another contractor. We stepped in to ameliorate the situation, first, by removing the existing work. We then began our process from a 30 grit to a 400 grit polish, applying the necessary densifier along the way. Lastly, we covered the floor meticulously with the highest quality sealer and burnished the floor to finish.
This basement located on Wilis Case Golf Course, underwent a full basement remodel when the new homeowners moved in. This included us protecting all exposed surfaces, cleaning and applying a Black stain to their existing concrete surface. We then filled all tooled joints with a Black urethane caulk. We then applied sealer to the floor increasing its durability.
This House in Grandby, CO switched after years of having carpet to having a floor that is easier to clean and further accentuates the rustic appeal of their home. This floor was riddled with imperfections that the team addressed which resulted in a nearly perfect finish. Look at what a difference it made.
The new Blake's taphouse in Broomfield, Colorado wanted a floor that would fit with their rustic interior design and be easy to maintain. We applied a 400 grit polish to the surface with a salt and pepper aggregate exposure. Blake's Taphouse is Serving up Craft Brews and Delicious food, and the customers stay for the floor.
